Sensei Dave Williams is the cheif instructor of the budokan ju-jitsu club.
He loves ju-jitsu and aims to carry in the foot steps of such great instructors of his past.
He was taught by Sensei Mick Walsh who had several clubs in liverpool over the years , Sensei Walsh was a great fighter as well as a great teacher he only gave a dozen or so black belts out in his forty years of training.
Sadly for the ju-jitsu community Sensei Walsh passed away in 2005.
His last teacher was Grandmaster Chew choo soot who came all the way from malasya back in the day to give Sensei Walsh is 5th dan and 6th dan,sadly again Grandmaster Chew died in 1997 .
Sensei Walsh's first instructor was professor Jack Britten he was one of the first non japanese instuctors to teach in liverpool he first started training as early as 1910 , he was born in london ,he first became a prize fighting boxer only when he took on a japanese ju-jitsu fighter and lost he asked if the instructor would teach him .
Professor Jack Britten died in 1976 leaving the alpha to Sensei Mick Walsh
